Barbie Ballet Class

Butterfly Ballet are very excited to be one of two London Schools to offer the Barbie Ballet class on Saturday 16th March.




The class is in partnership with the Royal Academy of Dance to celebrate the launch of the new DVD
 Barbie™ in The Pink Shoes, out on 18 March. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, classes can be entered into a competition to win the chance to perform for world renowned prima ballerina and RAD President, Darcey Bussell in London on 18 April.

You do not need to be a member of Butterfly Ballet or even to have danced before, all we need is for you to register your interest by emailing info@butterflyballet.co.uk stating your child's name and date of birth.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability and terms and conditions.

Barnes Musical Theatre Club

A new initative was created in January in the form of The Barnes Musical Theatre Club. Having grown up on musicals I was really keen to offer opportunities for children to learn other forms of theatre as well as Ballet.

My friend Stevie Tate Bauer is a former professional performer in the West End, credits include Wicked, Grease, Lord of the Rings and Oliver. Stevie runs the very succesful Take Flight Theatre School in SE London but was keen to bring her love of teaching to SW London and the Barnes Musical Theatre Club began.

Classes are available for children age 4-7 in the Junior Club and age 8-12 in the Senior Club.
As well as drama games, voice coaching and acting techniques being taught they also learn songs and dances from a popular musical each term.
