Barbie competition

The Barbie Ballet Class was a big success on Saturday, I only wish we had longer!
Children travelled from as far as Essex to attend and in the end we were the only London school to host.

Some of the activities the children did was make their own flower garland from ribbons and tissue paper as well as learn dances from Swan Lake and Giselle inspired by the new Barbie and the Pink Shoes DVD.

We have entered the little performance we did into the competition to perform in front of Darcey Bussell.
More importantly though, the children had a wonderful time and some, who have not been exposed to Ballet before are now keen to start classes.  Now that is a wonderful thing!!
